Born in Eagle Pass, TX and now based in Los Angeles, CA, Eric Mancha is a multidimensional Mexican-American artist and painter. Mancha draws inspiration from his everyday experiences, (the ones often overlooked as seemingly mundane), using these moments as vehicles to convey the thoughts and emotions that comprise his inner world. In this communication with the viewer, Mancha blends contemporary American and traditional Chicano cultures, fashion and entertainment.

A lifelong artist, Mancha’s mother enrolled him in oil painting lessons at the age of six, consisting largely of traditional landscapes and classical figurative styles. After graduating high school in 2000, Mancha left Texas for Los Angeles and studied at the Gnomon School of Visual Design. 

In September 2022, Mancha held his first solo show, Que Somos, at Great Art Space in Beverly Hills, CA.
